If there is a volunteer please PM me. There will be some form of reciprocity.

Hey, Jay

I got one for you to look at. Send me a PM with a mailing address and I'll send it over.

What you thinking of doing with it? Curious . . .

Hopefully making their own version of it - one that will actually make it to open market :D :monkey:

What I've shipped to Jay is actually the V2 Monolith version, and it looks great. Too bad I don't have a picture to share with you all.

One suggestion I have to improve on its functinality is to have the bottom rail made a little longer so you can add a laser/light attachment (like a TL1, TL2, Lasermax, etc.) to a foregrip. As it stands only one or the other will fit on it for now.

The side rails have adequate length on them to attach all sorts of other functional goodies as required and as budget will allow. For now I've installed rail cover on them and it works quite well as a natural hold. My only criticism of these side rails is that they're a little wide. It'll get even wider as you attach additional goodies. Fortunately for me I have large hands, but it may be a challenge for those who have smaller hands. Altogether though I'm mostly happy to have rails at all on this fine weapon!

Jay, I look forward to seeing your version as it evolves, and BTW +1 for taking on this project. :thumb:

Got to handle an FS2000 yesterday while buying another AR15 lower. I like. The poor guy that was picking it up couldn't take it home because the idiots at LANWORLD put on the fixed mag thingamajig, but forgot to lengthen the rifle to over 30". So he has to send it back.

I have been listening. The rails will be removable to suit your wants. Also the lower rail will be a little longer then the Mono. version. That seems to be the biggest issue with those who have them.

Once the proto is done I will need to test it. Then it will get scanned and turned into a CAD image so the CNC machine can make it.

Yeah, mid-$200 was about the price Monolith started with their tri-rail when first purchased, so I can see the official FN product would be a tad higher in that respect. I also noticed the pictures of the tri-rail on GB is thinner widthwise, and has a longer bottom rail than the Monolith version. Given these dimensions, I can't wait to see EA's version once it's completed.

I like the longer rails & smaller size of FN's version (more 'streamlined' I guess you could say) but I also like the molded piece Monolith's trigger guard area better than the nuts&bolts on the FN. Its a trade off - for now... (Hint, hint Jay :D )

I have found the FS2000 tri-rails for sale for $188.00 at Barts Sports World in Maryland. There phone number is 1-800-836-0956 or 410-761-8686. I called and spoke to AL and ordered 2. There is a backorder on them right now but call them and get on the waiting list for that price. Email me if you need any help ordering them.Mike

Would love to see pics of the new rail when you got'em.

I am waiting on some rail stock form brownells. When I get it I will be going down there to talk to him. Daug I will get your rail back then and send it to you. He should be down scanning it in and getting a feel for what I want.

I am still working on the prototype. I can't apply 100% of my time on it though.

It's there but production is taking up time. My Mini red dot site base is proving to be allot more popular then I thought it was going to be. I am waiting on another order and after that I need some custom work for my production machines.

Time is what it takes and Time I don't have enough of.

No other things like our in house made bullets have pushed this to the back burner.

For now yes.

We are just to small and WAY to busy to do every thing we want.

It looks like I decided to come back at the right time. So for those of you that don't remember, or weren't there. I was the original designer of the Monolith Tri-Rails. After designing those and going into production. The demand became to great to keep up with. So we approached Magpul to contract the manufacturing of them. Magpul then instead offered to hire me as a designer. They also said they would produce them for all of you and the rest of the world. They had me redesign it, it looked and felt better. However nothing has been done with it up to this point. They do own the patent on it though, pictured below. My name also appears on it as well. Here it what the original looked like. If I were you guys, I would keep calling them asking to produce it. They are only holding off because they don't believe there is enough sales. At one point we were going to do it, but everyone stopped making noise.

Now as far as making a trirail version, hmmmm.

I had both versions factory FN and the other scanned it. We have mapped out the design I want. Machined aluminum and closer to the FN style but with longer rails. It's just that we are small and just don't have the resources to do everything we think up all at once.

Making our one bullets in house was a big step, plus in a month or so our complete line of extended PS90, TR and ring sight, side rails, quad rail rail setup and custom bolt weight.

I will keep you in mind though.

Though not as cool as the one we'll hopefully see from Magpul, we do have the FN ones on our site. Price is $142.04 plus shipping.
