Some observations of the 2007 SS192

Post by oregunbob » 11 Mar 2009, 10:15

I recieved my shipment of SS192 last week.

I was comparing it to my 195LF. First both have silver colored primers, it was my understanding the older SS192 had brass colored primers.

Second there is no bluish primer sealer on SS192 as opposed to the SS195LF, which has just a little bluish/green sealant that can be seen between the primer and the case. I assume this is to help keep moisture out of the primer of the SS195. And that extra protection is considered not needed on the SS192.

Other than that, I really can't see any external differences.

Anybody else?

The SS192 has 3 primer stakes... Usually SS195 has 4...
