New Customer concerns on the S4M

Post by panzermk2wife » 22 Mar 2014, 18:06

In the past few days I have gotten emails from a couple of new customers who have bought the S4M. One was very polite in their inquiry. The other was not so nice.

In the S4M round we use the 28gr Copper bullet from the SS195 round.
It used to be called the S4 Ultra Raptor
We decided some time ago to molly coat the bullet itself before loading it and that is where the S4M name came from.

The concern in question was they were seeing "rust". Copper does not rust. What they are seeing is the Copper bullet show through the Molly.
The molly is very messy and does rub off either during the loading process and when we box it up it does get on the boxes. That is why there is a black coating on the boxes.

This in no way affects the performance of this round. It's all cosmetic.

Thank you,
Lisa

Molly is messy. I will be making a video explaining this and why I use the type of molly coating I use.

Anyone whose handled a moly bullet/cartridge should be able to figure that out.
Hell I figured it out when I opened the box.
I also have some moly bullets for reloading, the moly is on the bag.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

Did you switch? I know the original S4M I have, it didn't rub off.

Nope there is just more on it then before and yes it would. All molly does. My new application process puts more of it on.
