I was surprised when I called yesterday and heard, "we have one in stock.". They had no ammo, an empty gun display case and luckily one 45 tac in stock.

By the way, if you do buy one, you can pretty confident it will retain a LOT of its value.

I just sold mine and made $150 more than I originally paid for it.

Today I finally reached a decision and sold my FNX 45. Its a reasonably accurate pistol, but given that I own a number of high end 1911s as well as a substantial inventory of spare parts, etc..I am just not going to support multiple platforms. With Illinois finally passing a CCW statute, after a couple of iterations, I picked up a pair of Colt Defenders in .45ACP to be my carry gun. One is out at Robar for a Super Deluxe customization job [comparable to a WC Supergrade], and the other will go to Colt Custom Shop.

Yes, these are amazing pistols to say the least. All of the YouTube videos I've seen really do it justice. Especially when they have the red dot sight installed, now that's awesome. Congrats on your purchase and I hope you enjoy it!

And Beecher Tool, congrats on Illinois finally passing a CCW statute! I'm happy your state no longer thinks they're exempt from the Second Amendment.
