Well an Excel Arms Accelerator Pistol arrived at the shop today.

As soon as we can we will be chronographing all of our rounds through it.

That is friggin PURDY.
Reminds me of the Ruger target .22LR's. Accurate as heck and just feels SOLID in your hand.

Has anyone ever tried cutting the barrel down on this to make it more in-line with FN length? I'm by no means an engineer so there may be all kinds of problems with trying to do that, so I'm asking in ignorance of anything like that. It seems that it would be a somewhat legitimate alternative to the FN if the barrel could be successfully shortened. This obviously would reduce velocity but wouldn't it still be able to achieve FiveseveN velocities if it had the same length barrel? What do you tech guys think about the idea, is it plausible?

It can be ordered with a 6 inch barrel. That is close enough to the FsN to not really matter that much.
