Brass exchange credit for New 5.7 ammo

Post by bquick4 » 05 Sep 2012, 09:17

Im new to the site so please excuse any errors in protocol. I ran into a guy at one of the local gun shops and he put me on to this site. He also mentioned that he found a vendor, I think on this site, that would offer a substantial discount on turning in 5.7 brass toward purchase of new or reloeded ammo. Anyone heard of this?

Elite ammunition used to do it, not anymore.

As Buffman said, EA did that once upon a time but that was a while ago actually. Rather disappointing cuz I had saved up 2k rounds just for that reason! Just before I was ready to send it in, they quit doing that :wall:
But, you should still save your brass anyway - even if you don't reload. You can either recycle it to get some of your money back or you can sell it on gunbroker. Eventually you can sell here but you'll need at least 50 posts or a paid membership before you can do that.

Sad news but thanks for the response. Roger that on saving the brass. And, to blueorison, its Bernie. Just scratching the surface on the site and already found a treasure trove of info. Glad to be aboard!

jthwan already has one in the WTB section. These days, people are looking to buy but no one is selling apparently :?:

Just joined this forum today and would be glad to buy brass. 5.7 is the sweetest shooter that I own. Look forward to sharing with the group.
