THese cammenga mags are supposed to be easier and faster to load.
anyone have any experience with these or seen these?
I prefer the HK mags, but I wonder how these work out?
Anyone try these ar-15 mags?
Re: Anyone try these ar-15 mags?
Looks like an expensive novelty to me.
I just use standard USGI mags.

I will stick to P-Mags. With a Strip-LULA they are quick and easy to load.

Yes, I bought 2 of them for my FS2K. They would consistantly cause failure to feed on the last 3-4 rounds. You also have to make sure they are lined up right when loading (the space inside the width increases when open). You would be better off to just use regular mags & a LULA loader.
I got so fed up with them that they became targets

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

My fav mags are Pmags, but considering they don't work in my FS2K i use a lot of Cproducts stainless. HKs are too expensive for what you get.

I still haven't tried a P-mag yet. Everyone says how good they are, they have talked them up so much they better be the best mag on the planet when I get around to buying a few.

Make sure you get the ones with the see thru windows. It helps and also the coil on one of the springs is painted, to help indicated how many rds are left in the mag. A really nice feature.
Re: Anyone try these ar-15 mags?
Most retailers charge like 14 bucks. Anything aroudn there is fine. a little more for the window mag.
they sell like hotcakes so finding any retailer who has it in stock is hard.

Botach sucks, but if you keep your orders small and call to confirm they have it in stock, you should be safe. Buyer beware.

Re: Anyone try these ar-15 mags?
Botach is such a $hit company, I can't even believe anyone would even consider buying from them. Do yourself a favor - Just don't. I bought a USP rail adapter from them, they sent a broken one. I called them, got an RMA & I sent it back and guess what, nothing. Kept the adapter, kept my money - every time since that I have called, I get "disconnected while on hold". Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Buy them here:

I have spent plenty of money buying from Valhalla and Aaron ships incredibly fast, has fair prices and doesn't screw you over - he hooks you up.

Re: Anyone try these ar-15 mags?
Well, I got 2 Dark Earth pmags with my last order of USGIs. They seem of good quality, a little heavier than I had imagined, but I have never used a plastic AR mag before. I will give them a test this weekend.
I doubt I will be selling all of my USGIs for these though.
