I am sure their are, but that would make it an SBR. Better check your state and fed laws before you do that.

I don't think there are any OTS options. It's been a long while since I looked, though.

Sorry, sat. for the FsN, I don't know of any for the FsN. I misposted that. I mean to say "I am sure if there are, that would make it an SBR, and therefore subject to NFA. Sorry for the confusion.

A weapon with a buttstock that has a barrel length of less than 16" and an overall length of less than 26" qualifies as a short barreled rifle. Short shotguns are similar except their barrel lenght is 18" or less. Also once you have attached a buttstock it will always be considered a rifle thereafter. Even if you remove the stock.
On a side note, if a stock exists I would like to see it! That would be cool.

Last I checked, SBR are a no-no in WA anyway, let me know if I am wrong, as I was looking to go that route with my Sig 556 Patrol ad may be moving there.WA-Tom wrote:A weapon with a buttstock that has a barrel length of less than 16" and an overall length of less than 26" qualifies as a short barreled rifle. Re: Stock for FN Five Seven
Never understood why people wanted to put stocks on their pistols. If you want a real carbine w/ the bbl length get the PS90. Stocks are cumbersome and for CQB might increase your effective rate of fire but do nothing for dexterity; you can maneuver and fight much more easily without a stock on your pistol.
I guess I just chalk it up to one of those tacticoolness things that all these companies like Hera is marketing. If you think about it if you train well enough you can get a huge advantage on rate of fire without having to tie yourself down with a shoulder-pistol-stock. Of course that's not how these companies advertise it to be; to them it's somehow a great tactical advantage.
Hardware can never beat skills.
To each his own I guess, YMMV.
Edit: Not that I have these skills or anything! Hahaha

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.

Have to admit, a HK VP70 would be ultra cool to have as a pistol AND full auto thingy (not smg or any other class, so it is a thingy... at least thats what I think BATFE cals it)
But you are right, blue. Functionally it is not really a big advantage

Thanks for the reply guys. I live in the Philippines and the laws are different here. It is easier to own handguns than rifles and shotguns over here. Thanks again.

Exactly. Impractical, ugly, unnecessary, illegal. It's one of the few things I can think of that look more stupid than AR-15 pistols. (IMO)

Impractical, not on a FA weapon.MrSlippyFist wrote: Exactly. Impractical, ugly, unnecessary, illegal. It's one of the few things I can think of that look more stupid than AR-15 pistols. (IMO)
Ugly, meh, I think a MP5 K is dead sexy with a collapsible stock.
Unnecessary, again, not on a FA weapon
Illegal, only if your state does not allow SBRs.
Perfect examples where they are needed is any full auto handgun. Glock 18, Uzi, Mac 10, MP5, MP7 .......
I do however agree that AR-15 pistols look stupid.

A FA handgun would be pretty useful if you were locked in the trunk of a buick with a rapist. Trying to think of another situation.....

That's easy, he has a daughter now and in a few years she will be dating age and so will my boys. My oldest boy who is 5 even has the 8th grade girls fawning over him. Rico Suave all the way.
