Thanks for the info on the next gen S4M. It's not really a next gen because it's a completely different projectile: weight, dimensions, material.
You know I'm a huge fan of the S4M - both of my FsNs, the PS90, and the AR57 are loaded with 21 (or 51) rounds of S4M, but I'm intrigued by this new bullet... its terminal performance will likely be completely different.
One of the things that I like about the S4M is the fact that the aluminum core will often separate from the jacket, causing more than one wound channel. Even though the S4M will go through a level IIIa panel as if it wasn't even there, I have little concern that it will overpenetrate a human body. It will however create a horrific wound channel that's pretty much guaranteed to ruin a bad guy's day.
While the idea of a faster bullet with a titanium core gives me a woody (yeah, yeah TMI), I wonder what it will do once it hits flesh and bone.
Have you been able to do any preliminary testing yet, and if so, what did it do?

No prelim testing yet but the jacket will shed just as easily. The issue I want to stop is the core squirting out the back of the jacket and loosing penetration because of it.
