I've converted lights to LED in the past, but little more than a bulb replacement. This one took some work.
I salvaged the pill, emitter, and driver from a Tank007 TK-566. Dremelled out the head of a Mini MagLite, and cut down the tube. It runs off of 1 AA batt, but I plan for a single 14500. All 5 modes of the original light work. With the offset mount, it's small enough for my Walther PK380. A Nite-Ize clicky switch finished it off.
