Re: SS190
Guys, I"ve been TRYING to get ahold of u know who, to no avail. I have 2 boxes I'll let go of. I will drop the price to $220 ( shipping not included ) - If the guy who has the $200 boxes, on GB, still has any , they are the Winchester White Boxes. I have sealed brown boxes. I'll keep trying to get ahold of the connect , I will call him now. Let me know if anyone wants any original S4 original UltraRaptors, S5 32 Trident PFPs, - Peace

Re: SS190
After all the hype died down, the prices went way down. Then people realized they were sitting on something they spent too much on, and probably won't shoot because they wanted to collect it.flyingirish04 wrote:MikeSantor wrote:You and me both. Then you have people like my friend, who bought a whole bunch (hundreds of thousands) at probably less than government pricing, and went and shot most of it as plinking ammo.

Re: SS190
I asked the same thing,
It was 150 a box, or 3 bucks a round.
2400 rounds times 3 bucks = $7,200.00
He did say that 500-600 rounds are loose, (not in a box) which does not bother me, but I can see how collectors might not like it.
Its really not a bad deal...if you could get a couple of people together to share some of that cost.
Lowest that I have found online is a box here and there going for around 200 bucks.
If people want to pool together on this I will add some money!

Re: SS190
And EA's stuff out performs the 190 but that doesn't stop people from wanting the factory stuff. I can understand collectors wanting a round or even a box but for any practical reason, I'd go with EA. But that's my choice, it's really none of my business if someone else chooses factory. If they want it & are willing to pay for it, have at it.

Yes EA has great stuff. I can not wait for the T6 to be available for me to test. I have at least 1 box of everything else that they have. Quick response to orders and good contact if something will take more then a week.
Although I do have plans in the works to get a couple boxes of ss190. Always good for the collection. AND YES I will be paying quite a bit for it.

Don't have to wonder.
A box (20 rounds) was posted in the "for sale" section of the site.
It sold quickly.
The price was set at $130. Others sold for more.

Re: SS190
I admit, I hung on to a collection of ever FN round in sealed boxes and sold a few years ago. Market is down quite a bit for them but unless you want to get a collection going stick to EA or hand loads.

Re: SS190
If the T6 rounds (25) went for $130, that's $260 for 50 rounds of T6 - Since the SS190s come 50 to a box, that's $10 bux more for the T6 -compared to $250 for SS190s - And we're talking BRASS T6 not the copper ones, right? - Even though I have A lot of the ammo from EA ( S5, S4, etc, ) and SS190s, The S5 hands down, devastates the SS190 - They're in a whole different league. EA's stuff is the best out there, no question, but if people are willing t pay a premium for the stuff they can't get their hands on ( through FnH ), I understand paying the higher price for the SS190s, I just wish, a certain person who dropped a bunch to all of us would come back to the site! - Bones was great! ( and didn't charge anywhere NEAR the current asking prices for SS190 )!

Re: SS190
Hm, I guess it was 25 rounds; I saw that in your post and probably mistook the round count. I was going by memory and didn't look up the post.
We are talking about the Pre-ATF banned brass T6 and S5.

Re: SS190
I believe that the pre-ATF T6 was still 50 rounds/box. I know the S5 was 50/box.

Re: SS190
I guess no one has looked on Gunbroker lately? I just sold 2 boxes at $499.99 each :lmao: . And have another one running right now and is at $255
I did not set any price other than the buy now price I started this last auction at $0.01 and just let it ride. :ponder:
I kept a box for my self as a collectors item but really its not worth any more to me than just that.
I tried to trade a guy his $499 that he owed me for basically $1.00 per round of his ss198lf but he said he would just rather pay the $499 :wall:

Re: SS190
Just posted it on another topic.
BUT if you are willing to pay high prices, seems that everyone is unloading good ammo on gunbroker and other auction web sites!
Looks like people are cashing in on investments of 5.7 ammo.
So if you are willing to pay, people are selling it!
