Manhunt for Suspect in California School Shooting

DEVELOPING: Authorities are searching for a gunman who shot a teen in front of a California high school, the Los Angeles Police Department told FOX News.

Shots were fired outside Locke High School in south Los Angeles at about 7:50 a.m. local time. Police confirmed to FOX News that a male student was down in front of the school.

Police said the victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital. It is unclear whether the suspect is a student.

The suspect was described as a male Hispanic, about 5'6" tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and was last seen in a gray Chevrolet Tahoe.
