Notice that in the hands of "law enforcement" the select fire weapons are "Personal Defense Weapons", but in our civilian hands, a semi-auto rifle is an "Assault Weapon"! ....classic!

It is kind of freaky. It takes a while to learn how that system really works. Technically, they have to put every purchase on there, even if they know who they are going to buy it from. They publish a "justification" to sole source something like a cruise missile. Lots of small contracts to FN for various machine guns and parts. HUGE ammo orders. Interesting, but serious time killer if you are not seriously bidding.
