My first time

Post by ChuckD » 25 Sep 2009, 21:22

So I stopped by my buddies after work to use a few of his tools to work on my AR.
He had them and offered rather than buying them for myself so I indulged.

While I was there he showed me the basics of reloading and let me deprime, prime, size, load, and press a few (7) of his rounds as my own.
I think I might be addicted.

As soon as each of those rounds goes bang the addiction will be complete. :D

There's a near immediate gratification with loading. Much of what I do for the day-job can take months to bear fruit.

There are few things I enjoy more than loading and my own ammo. At my age, it is even more enjoyable than sex. :D

:agree: that reloading and watching some impossibly awesome numbers flash up on the cronograph can be better than sex...but that depends on who its with :D

Loading your own ammo is very addictive. I've been reloading for 17+ years and it's still my favorite hobby.

Congrats Chuck, reloading is one of my favorite activities, as the guys have said... from working the brass to working up loads to cranking out a box of ammo ... it is very gratifying. A great hobby. Welcome!
