Frangible Bullets

Post by jmz5 » 05 Apr 2009, 14:09

I loaded and shot a few different .223 loads of Frangible bullets from an AR15 today. I like to thank Doug again for the bullets and the loading advice.
I didn't really do any accuracy testing, we were shooting off wood blocks.

Everything I loaded shot less than 3" at 100yds.

Didn't know PMC was producing brass for the 5.7. Is this new? Oh- looked at the powder... Been a long day/disregard the question. Can I use senility as an excuse??

Yeah, .223. We were both shooting AR15s.
My buddy found 2500 pieces of primed brass for $350 about a month ago. :D

Only thing that was a little frustrating is that the 55gr bullets didn't want to sit still on the brass when I was seating them, if you can call that a gripe at all.
