Man these are going fast. When I ordered they had (16) 500 packs and (9) 5000 packs. Now all the 500 packs are gone and there are (4) 5000 packs left. Had I seen that there was free shipping on the 5000 pack, I probably would have done that. I guess I should feel lucky to have gotten what I did.

Well I thought it was a deal. These are almost impossible to find. MO thinks they cost too much???

It's only about 7.9 cents/bullet if you bought the 5000 pack. That's pretty cheap shooting. Speer 62 grain bullets without the penetrator core are 20 bucks per 100. That's 20 cents each.

Mike

P.S. They are all gone now.

You're obviously spending too much time working and not enough time reading the forum :p

GunBroker Auction

I feel like I got a pretty good deal now. At the time of this posting, 1,000 SS109 bullets are bid up to 230.00.

I paid 232.00, including shipping and a roundup for the NRA, for 2,500 of these.

OMG! Look at this craziness!

GunBroker Auction

I bought more of these than I needed. I might be able to retire if I sell a few :D

Christ, you can buy the all up round for the same amount as that guy paid for the bullets.

5.56 is starting to cost as much as .308 now. The insanity continues....

that is....literally ridiculous
I don't reload... but I know that if your slug costs about what the round already produced costs...its too much

Simply crazy!!

Reloading components, if they can even be found, are priced out of this world.

Has anyone been able to find small rifle primers recently?

Thanks,

Hoover

Hoover,

I was able to get 5000 by placing an order through Grafs. It took a couple weeks, but as soon as they were in stock they boxed them up and sent them to me.

Might be a good bet to place a backorder with them.

Did you get them? Mine arrived today. They are made by Prvi Partizan. Who makes the ones that Graf is selling?

I thought we were talking about the SS109 projectiles that go into the 5.56 mm M855 round. Isn't 400 a primer number? What are the 41s?

Whoops! Duh! Now I see you were talking about small rifle primers.
