V-Sharp knife sharpener review

Post by LK45s » 05 Sep 2008, 19:30

A few months ago at a gun show a guy was demonstrating a strange looking spring loaded sharpener. My friend let him work on his knife and after a few strokes he had a nice edge on it.
I got a business card from the guy and it sat on the dresser for a while. Recently I checked out his web site and shortly after that I ordered one. He has a little different way of doing business. You can’t order online and he prefers to take checks. He will send the sharpener to you and when you get it you send him the check.
Anyways I got it last week and have sharpened every knife I could find in the house. It is very fast once you get used to the motion.
There are several options, 3 different grit diamond rods (325/600/1000) marble bases etc. and is adjustable to 3 angles (17/20/25) degrees.

Here's a link to the web site http://www.warthogsharp.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They start out around $90.
