This is going to be a pain in the ass

AND... these smilies suck.

I think we need to find someone who will create a custom style (theme) for the forum, cause at the rate that I'm going (basically nothing) its going to take months.

I'm going to start a list of things we need to do in order to get back to a semi normal forum.

I have about 60 or so email address of forum members, mostly gold members. This fucking sucks.

I believe there is a compiled list that has just under 60 email addresses. Khronos is taking care of notifying people of what is going on.

yea me too.

A lot of the important information can be reconstructed quickly... but losing all of that reloading data hurts!
There was really no other place on the internet that had such a wealth of load data and info.

too bad the forum wasnt backed up with carbonite or something like that...

So this is where everybody went! Bastards. I had surgery on friday, and by saturday night was on a pleasant narcotic buzz that told me "must post political rant... must post political rant..." and nothing!! Just "FORBIDDEN!"

Well, it looks like this will take a bit to reconstruct, eh? I didnt realise how often I checked this forum until I couldn't. I have a bit saved (like my FS2000 review) which I will post just to add some meat to this thing. Surely our POST COUNTS can be saved??

If you got the email from Kronos Management and are a gold/silver member it says "If you were a Gold or Silver Member on the fiveseven.net forum can you please send an email to [email protected] with your name, forum id and let us know if you were a Gold or Silver member and we will change your status as soon as possible."

We are using some new forum software, the old site used vbulletin and the new forum is done with phpBB. The format of the old site as far as I know was pretty custom and I'm trying to find something to mimic it. For the time being this style will be taking its place until we can get something similar to what we had before. It just has to do with styles between different forum software not being interchangeable.

I am suprised that the old forum address is not set to redirect to the new one. A pretty easy cPanel setting. Also for my websites like http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php (13,000+ members) I use the Invision Power Board and have had great luck with it but I have had to do a complete restore from the data base once or twice. A big pain - even worse for 57 as it seems you lost the DB. Bummer. But I really have missed viewing the site everyday to see what is new in our world.

Glad to finally find the forum again, sucks what happened to the last one - hope Justin takes Kevin to court and wins over what Kevin did; that's just low of him to do what he did - thanks Cyberfly for letting us know what the hell happened and all. I'd suggest that besides posting something on the PS90 forum, that also people post something about the new 57 forum on other forums as well (such as on glocktalk, akforum, etc) cause it took me a s***load of google searching to find out about the forum change - and that was because the search result came from ar15 forum via google. Oh yeah, what about asking Ryan from EA to post something up on their homepage about the site change - I'm sure a lot of people are or haved looked there to see if they could find anything.

Glad to see that others are finding their way here.
