Desert Ammo Supply (DAS) quality

Post by ChaosSeen » 23 Jan 2010, 08:45

I know DAS produces custom 5.7 ammunition that has a lower-than-average velocity. Has anyone had experience firing some DAS ammunition (either 5.7 caliber or other calibers)? Is their ammo of high quality?

"My statement is that if they don't have a clue how to be legal with ammo, how much more qualified do you think they are loading for perhaps the most-difficult-to-load-for pistol cartridge?"

This is a quote from Blue, our UT pistol team member just before Christmas. In looking over many posts, discussions and debates, it just struck me as about the funniest but most profound post of the year regarding a company buying EA equipt.to make and try to sell ammo while passing themselves off as a real player in the marketplace. Blue, to you I award the gold star for makin' an old dude laugh!
