Ocular bukake... I would say that's a new one but I think experienced the same thing
14+1, buck shot in one tube, hit the switch and shoot slugs (or whatever) from the other! I am soooo getting one just to see if my trigger finger will come like my eyes!

the sad thing for ME is the only gun i have EVER had "blow up" in my face was my FsN at 154 rounds of 195's through it...i have 3 kel tecs, a p11, p3at and a .40 sub2000 and i have several thousand rounds through them (95% through the sub2000) and i have yet to even have a jam with them... :ponder:...i have no problem at all trusting kel tecs :cya:
I bought a sub2000 in .40 because it was $300 and could take a 30+ round mags. I was surprised at how well it did out to 25 yards and will think i would be pretty happy out to 50. and it pumped out every thing I put in except some steel case that are known to not work right. they fired without a problem but feed like crap. so far I wouldn't have any problems buying another keltec. don't let the cheesy plastic look fool you. they work...
Haha oh man put a modified choke on this thing and it will destroy multi gun matches.
Might have to sell off my 930 now...

Nice find....gotta love that 3" Mag shell at the end, like a Mule kickin you in the armpit.
Would have been nice if they had demonstrated the capacity/tube mag switchover procedure more clearly. I assume there's a "switch" that has to move when shifting from L to R magazine. the most rounds I count fired consecutively is 7, which I'm guessing is max capacity for one side.
Disassembly video from SHOT Show, not great quality but it will do. The guy doing the demo can be heard saying that availability will be 3rd quarter of this year...
Part 1:
Part 2:
And here is one more (better quality) that shows switching tubes...

Friggin tactifag.
Double click on the vid to open in youtube & it says it was posted by "Gunwebsites".
But I passed along your comment in the other comments
I edited it to be a little more diplomatic though. They don't know me that well

I didn't read the entire thread since I'm on my phone, but that looks very similar to what happened to my FsN. I know I'm not the only person this has happened to either and I know I'm not even the first person on this site for it to happen to....every gun maker has a few flaws, it can happen to any of them. I still have confidence in my kel-tecs.

Wasn't yours just a failure with the extractor though? Or am I confusing you with someone else? I know of 3 actual kabooms with the Five-seveN.
If you pull the trigger, and then run the slide while still holding the trigger to the rear like you would on a Remington 870 or a Mossberg, the trigger will simply go dead. We actually tried this on several models and it was the same on each demo gun. Here’s video of me demonstrating what happens........
......
To bring the gun back online after this malfunction, you’d have to run the action again, which would eject a perfectly good round in an action combat situation. Imagine that in a home defense situation – you shoot one shot, run the action on your gun, and nothing happens.
Because that's exactly how I shoot a shotgun rapidly.

when asked about this, Kel-Tec reps have said that the “LEO Models” (which are presently vaporware) will slamfire and the “civilian” models are the ones at the show. So, yes you read that correctly: Kel-Tec is saying that a slamfiring shotgun is a “feature” that will be marketed to LEOs. Meanwhile, the “civilian” version will apparently retain its functionally broken trigger.
I got a letter from Kel Tec today. MSRP is $880. Those that have alredy placed an order, what are you expecting to pay? If the BATFE comes thru, I'll be able to trade my S12 for 2 of these bad boys!
Large gun-show in my area today, plenty of Saiga-12's left on the table at the end of the first day, sticker price was $475. Obviously the recent BATFE regs are almost unheard-of among the average gun-going public, i was shocked.
On the other hand, glocks were flying off the table. Largest display said he had sold everything except his GEN IV's.
I thought about picking up a Saiga, but decided against it when I saw how many were just sitting there, no one thinks they're going away.
$880 is a bit steep for a pump shotgun, its only novelty is two tube-mags instead of one... how about 550-650, seems more reasonable.

Well seeing as that announcement was made days ago at an industry-only event it's not surprising that there's not much out there about it.
Plus I think an official announcement regarding the matter is supposed to happen Monday.

At this point, Kel-Tec has made several small runs of the shotgun, and those units have shipped to various people for testing and evaluation.
Additionally, Kel-Tec is advising that all KSG shotguns being offered for sale on GunBroker.com and other locations “…are hoaxes.” Kel-Tec stated that they have not shipped any shotguns that are available for resale, and that any of the people with T&E guns that try to sell them “…will be dealt with on their end.”
Kel-Tec stated they are “confident” they “…will be shipping in full quantities by year’s end as previously anticipated.”
I'd rather they work the bugs out then rush garbage into production. Sig has almost ruined its previously untarnishable reputation for doing things like that with their domestic "gotta have it" products.
If it turns out to be a successful product, I'll wait till the hype dies and buy two of them. Bullpups are fantastic weapons for SHTF due to their lower profile and concealability.

You can't just release the trigger to allow it to reset, then repull it? Most shotguns won't slam fire, and require the trigger to be released as i just described before firing.
I personally see no point to pump shotguns. Semis are soooo much faster.
And $800 for a Kel Tec shotgun? Sorry, if it doesn't say Benelli or HK on the side there is no way in hell i'm paying that kind of money for a riot gun.

Which problem? I don't regard the pump action as a problem. Nor do I consider the slam fire thing a problem. Each shot should be a deliberate squeeze of the trigger.
I do not like that bottom tactical model... it puts the back of my hand in front of the muzzle. (I'm not worried about shooting myself, but it seems like I'd have a pretty thick layer of GSR on me after a long day of fun.)
I always have black hands by the time I'm done. GSR will get on you, regardless.

Looks like KelTec did it right for the most part, just wish the price would come down a bit more I know a few are opening at close to MSRP on gunbroker but the fanbois are still driving up the price
They also tested the Aguilla 1 3/4″ Minishells, which not only worked flawlessly, they also boosted the KSG's capacity to 24+1!
hmmmm, having 25 rounds on hand is definitely swaying my vote as to what one of my next purchases might be . the pattern at 10 yards is really not that good though. my saiga 12 by my bed is loaded with 3" 00 buck, which the more i think about it, is not the best load. it will more than likely (if not definitely) over penetrate a BD (assuming it is on target) and still go through an interior wall.
tried a quick youtube search and did not find any videos of the minishells vs drywall. the "flyers" are probably not as bad as the over penetrating 3" 00...not saying you should not be concerned about the flyers by any means. i am strictly stating i should probably rethink my current loadings as well as future loadings.
I saw one of these forsale the other day at a gunshop. Wanted 1k for it. Fondled it like a boss. Was happy. I can't believe I have seen one of these forsale and I have never seen a pmr30 in person and only 2 RFBs... lol
