recommend a red dot sight for a saiga 12

My buddy wants to put a red dot on his saiga twelve and doesn't want to spend a ton of money :facepalm: . Any suggestions, red dot sights are not my department. Thanks.

i would personally look for something bigger for a long gun. with the new mini red dots out, they weigh just a little more than a burris ff while giving a larger sight window.

I like the FF ii for the money, what's his price range ? Is 400 too much ? What about 200 ?

+1. My S12 has good sights, though. For fun I put on a BSA cheapie and it held up just fine. I prefer a traditional laser simply for shooting from the hip :p
