Okay guys I am purchasing between now and February 15th a new Romaninan PSL but with out the scope or scope mount. I am trying to keep this some what original and cant figure out which POSP scope to purchase, or which one would be the best for ataking me out to 900 meters.

iirc the original scopes were VERY low magnification for 900m shots.

Yeah, the original PSOP or PSO-1 scopes are only 4x32 power. You can buy a PSO-1 from Romania from Centerfire systems or Kilinka Optics. Figure you'll spend about $100 or so.

Getting 900 meters out of a PSL really isn't feasable, at least not with any accuracy. The guns were designed for 400-500m engagements. They are also not designed to feed Heavy ball ammo. Anything over 140 grain and you'll start pushing the tolerance limits of the internal mechanisms.

Don't get me wrong though, they are great guns, and we've put almost 2000 rounds through ours over the years. Just make sure you are aware of the limitatings associated with it.
