LaRue Tatical

Post by Captan Harold D » 28 Oct 2009, 07:37

Anyone here familiar with LaRue Tatical in Leander, TX., more specifically, their DMR-16 and their Billet Lowers.
Thanks.

It's hard to find better stuff than Larue.

I have a aimpoint mount from them, it's solid, but pricey.

They won't sell you their Billet lowers unless you buy a complete rifle from them.
But other than that I've not heard really anything bad about them.
I hear they like to put goodies in with your orders.

Yeah, I got a few things with my order, it's too bad they don't charge lower prices and keep their BS stuff they throw in there.

For the level of product you're receiving, their uppers are very very competitively priced. They can't get their lowers produced in a high enough quantity to sell publicly so they will only sell them if you have ordered one of their uppers.

Larue optics mounts are spendy, but when you look at the competition I would rather spend an extra 20% and support Mark Larue and Texas instead of ARMS, which has sue happy lawyers that should be shot.

You've also got about the best warranty imaginable as well.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your comments.
I've been thinking about purchasing both the upper and lower.

I have a m203 leaf sight by them. I bought it second hand but would NEVER pay their asking price.

They are overpriced beyond a doubt.
