I got jealous of all those PKM guys with their fancy transit cases so I decided to whip one up for my RPD -
Then I decided my Bulgarian AKS-74 needed some love too:
The legend and RPK are next.........I can't stop!!!

I agree being sweet cases. What's in them are sweet looking also. Any chance you could fill a couple of cases and ship them with similar contents to me. I'd volunteer to be a test case to see how the cases "weathered" shipping.

I am shipping an RPD chest to a guy next week so we'll see how they hold up to UPS treatment........I'm kind of nervous to be honest.

UPS is brutal on packages, I once went to pick up 1k rounds of loose M855 off my porch and they all spilled out.

I'm going to pad the hell out of the box and get insurance.
UPS, FEDEX, USPS......I think the risk is about the same with all of them.
Shipping is going to be $40 or so for ground :wall:

Thanks guys!
I should have a Romanian RPK showing up this afternoon. Thats the next project.
I;ve had a couple folks ask me to make them transit chests for multiple AK's....3 gun and 5 gun. Definitely have my work cut out for me.
Honestly theres nothing more relaxing for me than closing the door of the shop, turning on the radio and being in woodworking mode for a couple hours.
Plus....my wife likes me being out of the house
