I thought of that and how often people use it to refer to the handgun platform, but then it'd be confused with the caliber.

As opposed to all the other handguns chambered in 5.7?

T/C G2 Contender
Excel Arms X5.7P
Excel Arms Accelerator 5.7
MPA 5.7 SST Defender

A further observation would recognize that most of these have 5.7 already in their names.

Yes, but your initial comment was "refer to FN platforms platforms"

Good point.

But no matter how succinct anyone is in their posting and in using the "5.7" under context, you KNOW the majority of people would still completely miss it and not get what the poster is saying.

The majority of times I see the platform "FiveseveN" referred to, I see it spelled or written incorrectly, such that it is difficult to understand if they are referring to the cartridge or the actual pistol, itself. A quick google will find you a lot of posts on other forums.

I wonder if they will have common threading on the Tavor, or some weird thread dimensions.

Putting a comp on there would be so much fun!

I think a TAVOR would be a blast with an EOTECH thrown on

Yes, I have one on mine. It helped smooth out the trigger but did not decrease the travel length nor significantly reduce the pull weight. Basically all it does is eliminate the sliding friction of two unpolished plastic surfaces.

Anyone know for certain if the latest version has been proven reliable? Heard good things but I don't know any of those people making the claims.

I don't claim things till I try them, personally.

I have been told they have fixed the reliability issues.

I'll try to find one.

Same here - I've been told this but I haven't tested one and don't know anyone who has.

I hate you Blue - more specifically, my wallet hates you. All I have to do is look at that a few times, and my hand starts to tremble.

Has anyone seen any new reviews of this from a trusted source?
