I'd shoot the latter pistol, but not the twins.
The twins need to be safe queens.

Holy Smoke, Batman!!
Those are SWEEET!!!
What is it with you and lasers? You know you're gonna get tired of that crimson trace...and who ya gonna call? :p
Me! :thumb:
John, right after you left, we went into Bass Pro and I found the SWEETEST set of cowboy .45's and they wouldn't sell em to me...out of staters. Even with LEO creds. I almost called you to come back to get em for me! But I figured I'd wait, we got a BPS in OKC (but I knew I'd talk myself out of em before then anyway).
But, man, those WWII Victory models are sweet! You need to keep them safe buddy. Lock em up! Too bad they don't fall under the antique laws and could be exempt from ATF rules.

:) I would have turned around...I would have just had to call and say i was going to be slightly late.

The Victory guns are classified as curio & relics. I've had the sideplates off of both of them and they have not been shot alot at all, and neither has holster wear patterns...looks like the wear was from desk drawers. These are the predicessor of the K frame Model 10, and are safe for use with +p ammo (+P ammo in the 1940's was loaded hotter than todays +P by the way by at least 200fps in 158gr)

I've even managed to get 5 new condition old stock, just out of the package Victory mainsprings from Australia.

I know you would have. You even offered before you left, but I couldn't bring myself to make the call. And probably a good thing I didn't either. I never feel good about spur-of-the-moment purchases like that. Especially when its firearms. No matter how beautiful they are.
Those are awesome twins, bud. To find them in that shape after all these years...incredible!
