YES 10MM GLOCK.

No, I don't think it's 6in, but IIRC the slides are made for ~5.3 in bbls, so the extra .7 from an aftermarket KKM/Stormlake/etc. wouldn't stick out as much. AND it's optics ready.

I've always valued the 10mm as a cartridge that needed optics as the projectile grainage and POI varies greatly between each other (over 60 grains!)

Pretty good news, 10mm lovers! (I doubt Glock wanted to completely retool and make a new line for 6in 10mm bbls as they did with the 17L way back when; they already had the 5.31in bbl slides from the G41).

And yes, Glock is still stupid for not releasing the single stack 9mm.

No surprise, there.

We will see if the slide cuts for the MRDs are in spec in the first wave and if they can survive the beating :) Many MRDs die on slides...

Trijicon RMR.

Edit: I take that back. Looking at the pics it appears two of them are some flavor of Fastfire or Doctor Optic, but the 10mm looks like an RMR. ISTR reading that Glock had spec'd the slides for the RMR specifically.

Thanks. Sight plus pistol: approx. $1600. Hmm, do I really need the PS90...?

There's an MSRP? I must've missed it.

Just estimating, Blue. Gallery of Guns is pricing it at $830. (Non available) Another large bear on my porch last week. Feeling under-gunned with the G17.

$830!

That's actually not too bad; I'm thinking street prices of 799$ or less.

$600 longer slide 34/35/41/40 Glock (around that after extra fees/taxes) + $300 slide cut (+ extra for refinishing the slide), and you have about 900$.

So this saves you about 800 and it's from the factory, so you have that warranty/"trust" preserved.

I'm getting one, no doubt about it!

Bear!!!! NO WAY with a G17!!!! Not even with the Speer +P+ 115gr bonded.

Bear = at least 155-180gr bonded Speer at 250PF/750+ of energy. From a practical handgun (you could even suppress the 10mm so you don't blow out your hearing).

For outdoors when it isn't rushing you, I'd use the S&W .460; I love it. It has an MRD mounted on it.

:(

You should just feed it until it becomes your friend. Then you don't have to shoot it, AND you have a bear friend.

That's not just the tequila talking either :D
