How much is too much?!?!?

Post by TimmyS916 » 21 Jan 2014, 19:14

Hey guys how much is too much when buying a fn 57?

Found one locally in california. $1299. After everything, about $1450.

Yes CA is only 10rd mag.

Please let me have your response.

Oh, it is brand new in box. And it is a mk2 with adjustable night sights.

Personally, I think that is too much. Gunbroker has them cheaper than that but you may be out bid.
I have no idea what the normal "in store" price is for these in PRK but I'd recommend ordering it.
Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

I was just at my dealer Sunday he had one 1300 clams.
If your getting from a dealer seems about what there going for.

Anything over 1200 to me is too much.

Then again, this is something you decide for yourself, when it comes down to the tacks.

It really should be more like $900-1000, but the extra $200 is worth it, if you really want it/it's hard to find.

If it is hard to find in CA, then go for it. If not, then wait if you'd like.
Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.

Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
