I'm tempted by some of the 9mm WWII lugers I see on gunbroker but I'm not sure if its worthwhile.
I'm fancinated by the lovely imperial german navy pieces but at $1.5K-$5K++ for a nice one I probably would never shoot it and if I did it would ruin the "investment" value. If I look at the cheaper ones in the $750-$1K I would definitely use it for plinking but I'm worried I'm overpaying for an overused piece of crap at that point.
Thoughts?
Is a WWII luger worth it?

I know a guy here who paid $500 for one & he let me shoot it . Stiff trigger but not even close to what I'd call a piece of crap. I would buy one for $750-$1K if I had money to spare. I think it's a decent gun & a cool piece of history.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.
