22 magnum pocket gun.

Post by JoJo » 05 May 2012, 08:07

Somewhere I saw an article about a small short barrel revolver with either a top break or a bottom break barrel. This new pistol was very easy to reload. My spouse needs a carry gun and this design looks good. It would be nice to find a small "double action" gun.

Has anyone seen an ad?

It is amazing what a Google search can turn up:
http://www.google.com/search?q=22+magnu ... 38&bih=999" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah, I did google it but nothing came up for "top break" or "bottom break". However, it is pictured on the page you linked. It is discontinued. One is for sale at an auction (actually a pair) starting at $2000.00!
Anybody want to invest in a 4 shot 5.57 revolver? I know, I know........! Even with the loss of velocity due to a two or three inch barrel, it should be effective.

FYI there is a big player looking into making a compact 5.7x28 gun.

So, who is it not? That shouldn't be a secret, right?

WOW! I like the tip up version. I carry an extra cylinder loaded with mine but it is a lil time consuming removing the retaining screw!
Needs to be a pressure or notched release pin

I think that makes it a paperweight since it pretty much blocks the trigger

I did not want to wait on a compact 5.7 to reach production so I bought the 22 magnum NAA Black Widow. The little bugger is easy to conceal and easy to hit center mass at 15 feet. Reloading the thing is not practical but you have five chances to take out the BG.
