HK UCP

This looks familiar.

Image

Shoots a 4.6x30mm round, armor piercing capabilities, low recoil. Sounds familiar...

News to me that this even existed.

HK, to me, is very arrogant. They don't give a rats ass about the civilian market too much.

THey want military and LE contracts.
That is probably why that pistol hasn't materialized, espeically since the mp7 is a DIRECT competitor to the P90.

Yeah the 5.7x28 induction in the NATO realm was largely delayed due to Germany's "vote" in NATO.

We'll see whatever happens with the "Ultimate Combat Pistol".

Even if it sees the light of day, they wouldn't sell one to you because "They're HK and they hate you." :)

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

And even if they thought about selling one to you, you'd have to have a co-signer and an amazing line of credit because it'd be wayyyy overpriced

See FN is smart, they advertise taht 70% of US military small arms are FN. They also take a good chuck of the civilian market share in the US. Consider that the US market has 300+million people.
I think FN sold over 20,000 FiveseveN pistols this year alone. I dont' know of any police department or military buying that many at any given time. Smart move on FN's part.

I thought HK WAS on the right track when they imported the HK94.

The ammunition has been on the market. Midway had it too.

I love my HK. I think they make some of the best tactical pistols. I don't have a clue about how they are with civilians though. Sorta see what you mean by most of there guns are for military or LE.
