Blue I'll have to check that out. I really like Taurus and for the price tag, they are hard to beat.

A friend of mine has a SS Taurus 1911 and for the money it's a great gun. Much better then the 1911 no names from the Philippines.

You can get a Witness for around 375-400 and Match version for 490 on bobsdiscountguns.com

There is currently a listing for a SP-01 clone 9mm steel frame with a .22 slide for $407.

You really can't beat that price for that quality

Those are not polymer guns, the Taurus' are. Either is a viable choice.
