Sorry I've not been about, life has been a little crazy...

But I got to handle a FNP 45 a couple days ago and knew I was in deep as I was in love with the thing sooooooo~it came home with me!

Really, really nice pistol,I also man handled the FN 9MM which was also very nice-just I have a real bug about the .45!

Only problem is I used the alloted amount of money I had for guns so now I have to sell something to cover this! I guess the 4506 can go since I have this .45 now (face it I won't carry the S&W much now!)
ran a few rounds through the FN and it works very well, very soft recoil, have to admit I like the flat bottom mags better, also the thing comes up with the sights aligned which why I bought it since it fits me well...kinda odd considering the last 14+ round .45 I held felt like a two by four.

FN has some real winners in the pistol shelf

Congrats on the new pistol, although I am a big fan of the big framed Smith's!

nice snag! I have one with the black slide. was definitely a good buy. only shot some wwb through it but was really surprised at how accurate it was. just a bit of difference in what I was seeing in my fsn. and it's pretty obvious it's mostly me that's the problem.

want to get a fnx9 with stainless slide at some point. i think FN really got this design right.
