(McLean, VA) —FNH USA, LLC received notification from the USSOCOM Program Executive Office—SOF Warrior (PEO—SW) that the SCAR Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM) was approved and signed on April 14, 2010, moving this FN Herstal (FN) program into the Milestone C phase. This decision authorizes the production and deployment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR) MK 16 and MK 17, as well as the Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module (EGLM) MK 13.
Looks like all the "operators" over at professionalsoldier really knew their stuff. Oh, and let's not forget David Crane's numerous "interviews" with people in "the tactical firearms community" calling the program scrapped and "as good as dead".
Looks like all those idiots finally get to eat crow and try to spread rumors about some other weapons system getting canceled.

Placement varies, but there's a rule that says: "Guns & alcohol don't mix."

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

I thought all the drums needed was a small bit of filing? Plus the part that needs modification is like a $4 replacement part.

so now that an official document has been released what have these "operators" said in their defense? Do they make off the wall and unverifiable claims like they always do?

More than likely. I haven't checked professionalderps or defense review since the press release was made, so I don't know their reactions (if any). My guess is that it will go quietly considering the high chances of considerable pie-in-face action. Dredging through both sites will be difficult since you can't search without being a member on professionalderp, and Crane puts so many useless tags in his search cloud that you're better off just going article by article since no matter what you search for it will always display everything.
