Ambidextrous charging handle doesn't do you much good when you have already paid an arm and a leg for it. :p

I must be missing it in the picture, but can any of you guys see the Vacusuck 3000 attachment. I figured for that kinda money those come as a standard attachment.

Really though, these are special editions, the first ones out, in a time when they may soon be illegal. Once (or if) the market is flooded with them, the price will drop to our original estimates.

As a side not, playstation 3's were selling for thousands on ebay the first day those came out.

What's with the gold/bronze colored receiver? It looks funky! You think they could have Duracoated it to match better than that weird anodizing.....

It'll come down as soon as other competitive rifles (i.e. MR556, ACR, etc.) come into the market . . . too bad it'll be later in the year, if not 2010 when they do come out!

It's crazy the frenzy that's out there right now. I put what I thought was a good bid on GB (starting at $3200) and the next bidder "bought it now!" for $8200. That's crazy, go figure! :?:

Are they still coming out with the SCAR H in 7.62 x 39? Then I could use the same rounds for my AK.

I have never heard that there will be a SCAR-H variant for 7.62x39. At one point there was such plans for the Kel-Tec RFB.

It was on wiki and other websites like http://world.guns.ru/assault/as70-e.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"Mk.17 SCAR-H will use proprietary 20-round magazines in 7.62x51 NATO chambering, or standard AK-type magazines in proposed 7.62x39 M43 chambering." This was in the prototypes so i don't know if it still applies. They wanted to do this so they can use the ammo of their enemies. (pretty good idea)
