"First 48" Miami rapper killed with 5.7mm?

Post by IncVoid » 21 Dec 2013, 02:37

Anybody else watching first 48 episode "Jacked; Fallen Idol"
Robert "Bizzle" Labranche. Watching the episode I noticed the casings?
I'm not active on the forums, but I thought I'd pop in and see if anybody else noticed the casings and wondered if it was 5.7

Can't stand shoes like that. They get so many things wrong, like bullets in magazine backwards HK style wrong that I just can't deal with it.

My favorite was when one of the CSI shows said that you can't buy 5.7x28mm ammo in the US. After sitting there screaming at my TV while my EA ammo-filled FsN was on my belt, I stopped watching all CSI shows after that.

Yeah, those shoes suck. :p

I've never watched it, does it follow the actual investigations or are they recreations? If it's a recreation, I wouldn't trust anything you see like a casing on the ground, which gun someone uses, get-away car make/model/color, etc...

Could be a loaded deck show. Change things as not to affect the outcome.
I googled it, I noticed on twitter a bunch of people posting about the show when it aired that were fans of the guy.

But no articles that would say what weapon was used. I don't really know google-fu

But for the most part the show isn't like csi or law and order.
Its a tag along docudrama show.

I watched the episode, the casings they showed were 5.7x28mm. And they certainly portrayed it as if that was the scene.
As for the show itself:
I can't believe how evasive people are, or at least portrayed, on that show. They interviewed the witness' "girlfriend" in that case and at first she didn't know who the victim was arguing with, then she admits that it is her "daddy's son." (yes, meaning her brother) WTF? Oh and now she knows his name? It's smeg like that that just makes we want to high-five some people - with a chair... In the face... Image Hope they charged her with obstruction but I doubt it.

But if I were a criminal, I would like to thank shows like this for telling me which businesses do not have real cameras or adequate security.

I thought I was just being enthusiastic. Half the pistols I see in a movie to me are five seven until I pause and rewind and step forward.
NOt very enthusiastic of it being used in crimes. :(

I know its used in the opening scene of the movie "Gamer"

"he’d would pull out the gun and wave it. It was obviously done to intimidate me," Is the only crime I see...but I don't know NY laws
that and keeping it in a bag under the bed, I can see sleeping that way, but no mention of a safe.

Sarcasm here, not advocating violence, but couldn't he of intimidated his sig other elseways? misused and abused tools.
