.22LR is awesome.
Not that reliable in terms of bulk-grade, but awesome.
If I were um.... needing it to be very reliable for a certain application, then it can be.
I've used .22LR ammunition given to me, that was over $20 a box. It was custom made in Switzerland, and never failed. It used nickel plated brass and had very consistent pressures and powder burn.
I would have NEVER known or assumed the caliber could actually be pretty much 100% reliable if I had never used that ammunition. That knowledge changed everything, for me, in regards to how I hold that caliber, compared to others. :cya:
Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
The shooter will always matter more than the gear ever will.
Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
Shoot more, worry less.
