Which gun is on its way to your ffl right now?

Hey all,

I just thought it would be interesting to have a thread where we all posted what our next purchase will be. It could be on its way to your ffl right now, in your local gunstore with your name on it or it could just be the one you have always wanted and think you will pull the trigger on next.

I personally have been on a gun buying hiatus for a while due to wedding planning but my wife to be just informed me that she will buy me TWO of these after the wedding!

NO I do not really need those but I just want to :guns: Give me a break ok!

I have an ACR enhanced on order right now at the shop. Just waiting for bushmaster to make it and send it. Once that comes in the SBR paperwork is getting started, and I have a micro and a geisselle trigger to go in it. For 1500 I wasn't passing up an ACR.

Once this crap mess is all finished up with, I'm going with a Rem 7600 in 308 and having the barrel cut back to 18 inches. A customer of mine has a S&B 1.5-6 power that's brand new he's willing to part with for 600 to go on it. I'll finally have the perfect deer/atv/brush gun with that setup for PA.

Almost forgot, I have a SP101 in 22lr on order too. Not in any rush to get it, and when it comes in if I don't like it then it'll go out for sale. But if I like it then it's going in my collection, and it'll be the new squirrel/snake/groundhog revolver.

I have a small collection of Remington 510 targetmaster 22's. The Boy Scouts have these bizarre rules for shooting. Remember when Norman Rockwell painted pictures of scouts in uniform shooting Winchester lever actions? Well, not anymore. Rules only allow single-shot, bolt action, no magazine rimfires. So I pick them up whenever I find a decent deal on gunbroker. One is on the way to my FFL now.

And that is what is wrong with the world today. Remember when your dad, uncle, grandpa or whoever handed you a weapon when you were a kid? I know I was as respectful as can be! I was probably more conscious of gun safety back then than I am now as it is just second nature these days. Glad you are still keeping the shooting sports around for our youth though as neutered as it may be.

As for the wait, Rock River is apparently having trouble keeping up with demand. That is almost surely due to our Taxer in Chief in Washington.

I have a Bushmaster ACR enhanced in coyote on the way that I traded for. While I was at the gun shop filling out the 4473 for it I ordered a Glock 20. Both should be in Thursday or Friday.

I bought a NIB 5.7 for my wife. Paid 900 to a cop in the bay area for it. He's had it for a couple years and never shot it. He told me he won it at a SWAT conferrence. Now I just have to drive 2 1/2 hours to San Jose to pick it up.

I'll be picking up tomorrow my "new" lightly used AR57 16" barrel upper on a CMMG lower with a PWS milspec stock tube, flip up sights and an EOTech XPS2-0. Also coming with it is a nice pack of SS197, SS195, T6, S4M, ProtecTOR II and some other goodies. Thank to the member that sold me this deal! This will be the 1st AR of any kind that I have shot since the Air Force (And that was a while ago). So I've got some learning to do. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I'll post some pics soon

Oh I will.... after I put my computer back together this afternoon.... I had a bad port in my mother board so I took everything apart and sent it off.... I have about 40 gigs of photos and videos from all of the past photos shoots that have built up since the computer has been down (About three weeks).... Once i've unloaded all of that and processed everything i'll get some photos up some time around friday next week.

I'm pretty much a newborn gun collector. Sure I was given a .22 rifle when I was a kid and shot it maybe twice, but I really wasn't around guns growing up. A couple years ago I discovered the responsibility of gun ownership due to some 2nd Amendment articles I read. Soon after that I discovered the fun.... Considering the current political climate, I figured it was as good of a time as any to buy a "scary assault black death rifle killing machine". :laugh: I've been wanting a PS90, but I'm so jealous of the Leo discount price I can't/won't pull the trigger on a retail priced one. If I get a 5.7 upper, perhaps I may never own a PS90.

I have about a dozen guns now, but my favorite by far is still the FiveseveN.

Shocked, my story is pretty much the same. I had the 22 and 12 guage from my youth, but that was it. I heard a speech by Bill Clinton about "responsible gun laws" and panicked. I bought my first handgun, entered in a steel plate competition, and was hooked. A few years later, I can pretty much say, "I have one of those" in most conversations. The FsN gets more rounds through it than all the others together.

I just picked up a little Detonics Combatmaster from my FFL (I know, pics. later). Haven't shot it yet, but it feels pretty cool.

Funny, I started this thread about the mpa930 pistols I was gonna get and I still haven't gotten them! The wedding cost a little more than we figured BUT... I ordered both pistols from budsgunshop today! Super excited for the :guns: !!! Next on the list (and it is gonna be a while) are some better optics for my rifles and a kimber eclispe II in 10mm or a colt delta elite 10mm.

I just pre-ordered me one of these in 7.62 mm (308):

SIG716 Precision Marksman

I liked the HK version, but it was too expensive. I also liked the COLT SP901/LE901, but it was not a gas piston design like the SIG.

I could get one as early as November, but it could be longer. Let's hope not.

Similar to Vortec Max's AR...

Not exactly coming to my FFL, but I have a Precision Firearms 6.5 Grendel on it's way with a 24" Lilja fluted barrel, American Spirit Arms non-reciprocating side charging upper with a free float tube.

And I am putting it on a Heritage Arms billet receiver with a Geissel trigger, and Magpul PRS stock. Only problem is... optics. I just cant decide.

It is supposed to ship next Friday and I am sooo excited. Next step, Cerekoting

The range bags we use.. it even says Team Awesome on them. haha...

No slide racker? I guess for steel it isn't as important.. but it is a good idea just in case. Then again, if the slide is already tuned for your loading, might not want to add extra weight..

They only offer it in 3 configurations right now. Factory, CRP in blue like mine, and CRP hard chromed. They said they are way too busy right now to do any other modifications. It comes tuned from the factory for minor power factor 115 grain 9mm. I'm going to shoot it like this for a while, and then get them to modify it to fit my needs exactly once I figure out what they are. Right now, some of my buddies at work and I like to go over to the reactive steel range, and it will work great for that. I'm going to use it for some open USPSA even though it's minor power factor, but considering how fast and accurate it is, I don't think I'll do too badly. I'm not trying to become a Master or Grand Master. I just really enjoy shooting with my friends. I'm coming back from a case of shooter's elbow so bad that I couldn't even pick up a beer with my right hand for over a month. I had to take about 6 months off from shooting. It's nothing but minor power factor for me for a while.

10-11 lb springs and lightened slide with heavy frame makes the gun joke-like to shoot; I mean that in a great way. I'm sure you will have a tonne of fun! Don't worry about scores. I never do, unless someone is challenging me. I think your mindset is great. I shoot matches 80% to go hang out with great people and 20% to shoot.

Today, I was blessed to shoot with a lot of my friends, in my squad. Sheriff SWAT, PD Armorer, officer workers, car mechanic.... they are all wonderful people from different venues of life who all know how to not take things too seriously and appreciate the privil... um.. right we have to shoot, in this wonderful country of Tex.... USA.

p.s. you might have to tune those poppers to fall with the light load. :thumb:

I have a Eotech XPS 3-2 on my PS90, but couldn't find the G33 several months ago so I am not using a magnifier. Let us know how it is because I might add it at a later date, and it would be nice to know if it was worth the money.

I'm going to do a video review of the G33 after I put it through its paces. Although I have never used its predecessor, the G23, and can't compare directly, it's supposed to be a big improvement.

Looks awesome! Glad you found a PS90, where did you source one?
