SBR. You could then use a 1/2x28 thread adapter to install a flash hider for QD suppressors or for use with threaded suppressors like the TAC 16.

There aren't (currently) any viable options for attaching a suppressor to a stock PS90.

The best options that do exist today are for the P90 (or PS90 converted to a short barrel rifle AKA SBR.)

Non-integral suppressor attachment generall falls into two main "flavors":
* Threads - obvious enough, except that the thread patterns have to match.
* Quick Detach AKA QD - there are various ways that this is accomplished, but the common theme is that there's some device on the muzzle of the gun that quickly mates to the suppressor. Often that device at the end is a muzzle brake or flash hider. Again, the QD components must be compatible with each other.

Either SBR it, or buy an 18" stainless steel barrel.

I've been reading about the whole SBR procedure. Now my question is if I was to purchase the 10.3 inch barrel on CMMG should I do the whole SBR processes before purchasing the the barrel or after. Here's another thought they also have a ps90 receiver with the standard barrel in it I've e-mailed them asking them if they would replace the standard barrel with the 10.3 inch barrel and allow me to purchase it that way are if there was some law against that. Any ideas, commits, suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Thank you

You can purchase the SBR from them, you will just need to have it transferred to a class III dealer in your area while you are waiting for the Form 4 to be approved.

I've gone that route before, and it can be a good way to do it. My dealer had a range in the back, so even though the form 4 was not yet approved I could go there and shoot it, I just couldn't take it home with me until I had the paperwork.

It was in 2007 and took about 8 weeks from when it was mailed off to when I got it back.

Getting the fingerprint cards, signature on the form 4, etc took a day's worth of driving around.

That's not to bad. If you don't mind me asking what state do you live in cause I was talking to a friend of mine that is currently going though the process and he's on about his 5th month.

It's a federal process, so it doesn't matter what state you're in. My last couple of form 4 transfers took about 12 weeks, that was the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009.

Don't need fingerprints or passport photos anymore so long as you use a trust, or signatures.
