How hot are we talking? Iirc, it MIGHT have gotten warm to the touch, but nothing anybody would call hot.
4 stage process? MUCH more involved than anything I've done.


Shroud? What shroud? Sorry, but I haven't had my FsN apart too often. Fire and forget, mostly.

The black thing on the barrel is the shroud.

400° would be much hotter than just warm to the touch
