After 9 freakin years !

I took a while to get a new camera but here it is folks The ARES Shrike beltfed upper for my M-16A1. I still get a few stoppages but I only had 5 in 700+ rds yesterday.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EbVmAEKvS8

We just need to start playing videos like this backwards for the gun grabbers. Then it looks like a magical device that inhales smoke from the air and picks up brass that people left on the ground! :laugh:

That's awesome though. Do you have pics of the magazine/belt/box thingy?

I never got around to getting an AR57 upper. I think the first ones weren't select fire capable or at least didn't have the auto sear trip on them. You might know better than me if the newer ones are. I just never got the bug for a full auto 5.7 upper. I do want to get e Razorback 22lr belt fed upper . It is a mil-spec Colt M-16A1 lower . I think it came out of the San Diego PD. I've had it since 1998.

Tom Cassidy modifies SAW boxes for it calling them the uptight box. It reduces the capacity from 200 down to 160-170 but looks better than having the bigazz one hanging down below the magwell.
