CMMG Barrel or Barrel Cut for PS 90 SBR?

Hey all, I know that this issue has been raised multiple times on the forum and I'm not trying to be lazy and duplicate, but I'm trying to ask the question a way that maybe hasnt been from this particular direction:

For my upcoming PS90 SBR Conversion after I'm approved for my stamp, should I go with the CMMG after market 1/9 barrel or use one of the recommended folks to take the factory barrel and cut it down.

I do plan on utilizing a can later after the SBR conversion.

Obviously I have read some pros and cons, but I guess easiest way I am seeing it is IF CMMG after market is flawless functionality then should go that route and save the long barrel to use again later if/when ever desired???

Thoughts welcome.....and appreciated for a 5.7 novice.

I have the cmmg barrel on mine and have absolutely nothing bad to say. My only regret is that I have the classic p90 style flash hider, which I plan to replace with their threaded adapter.
