Gen 1 and 2 hammer packs

Hello,
I am new to the 5.7 forum, and to the 5.7 as well. I just bought the carbine and love it. I see some Gen 1 and 2 trigger units for sale, and I do not understand the difference between these and what I have, (which is probably gen 3 or 4). I know nothing about the differences and was hoping someone could help me understand the issue. Thanks in advance.
