does your gun need a diet? LOSE SOME WEIGHT FATTY!

Post by eccvets » 27 Aug 2008, 14:28

Ok so I saw something intresting on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBtvpkqYB4E" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; at about the 4 minute mark). I noticed when we weighted his og 5.7 that it weight much more then what the magazines and fn have advertised (23 oz compared with 19oz which is fairly substational in gun weights). So do you think his scale is off? Have you weight your gun to see how much it weights? Do the OG 5-7's weight more? Thoughs and comments welcome... :monkey:

Mine must be female. It refuses to weigh itself when I'm in the room.

He said it weighs 19 oz without the magazine and guessed 23 ozwith the magazine (and keep in mind he had an extended mag). The owners manual says the gun weighs 1.3 lbs or 20.8 oz (or 590grams which = 20.8116oz). without the magazine [and im guessing the owners manual measured the IOM not the USG].

TFM pg 47 says 1.3 lb (590g) which is 20.8 oz [without magazine]

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.
