saw the pistol today at a gunshop i frequent. Its interesting but i was surprised at the weight of it. I couldnt see shooting for extended periods of time with it comfortably. However considering its half the price of an FN it did make it somewhat attractive. But i have to say the carbine would be a must have for me!

I want the carbine, planning on getting one in the next couple weeks. I've seen videos, and the recoil looks like it's non existent.

:ponder: Looks like a great product! Can anyone find any though ??? They don't have them in their catalogs so is it discontinued or just older than 2010?

I called masterpiece arms a few weeks ago, and they said they are in production. Bud's lists them on their website, but says out of stock.

Yes, the MPA guns use FsN mags. 20 or 30rd. I even saw a video online of it running flawlessly with 20 and 30rd pro mags.

I searched for master piece arms (with a space) and it returned nothing. Sometimes that search function is a little finicky about how you enter the text. :?:

If you'd drop by more often than 2-3 times a quarter then you'd probably have seen it

Yeah, it is kinda finicky. I usually use Google, in conjunction.

I normally use wildcards (asterisks). This one for example, I would have just used "master*" but since I already knew about the thread, search not required :p

Mine likes the Pro Mags but not the FN factory mags for some reason. The FN mags don't want to insert. I've always considered Pro Mags as junk compared to the FN mags so there is a place for them I guess.

That's funny, because the two videos posted here, say otherwise. The pistol variant video never made it through a full mag, and the carbine vid, though its first shooting without scope seemed to push all rounds through, the second shooting w/scope did not.

But hey, who am I to talk, my 5.7 is still a paper weight (hint -> Jay, should I send it in?)
