After being a member of this forum since January and shamefully not even owning a single 5.7 platform, I finally saved up enough to get my hands on a Fiveseven. A couple weekends back we had 2nd amendment weekend here in Louisiana and all firearms related purchases were tax free. I came across a FDE Fiveseven and couldn't pass up a tax free purchase on it. I won't waste time reiterating all the great things about it. My only complaint is I got the lame hardcase that looks like some kind of playskool briefcase.

I love that case. The new ones are really nice, also. But I just love something about the vintage ones

Well I guess the nice thing is, its very slender and easy to store. I'm just happy to finally be officially part of the 5.7 club

Very nice. I have many of both. The new ones are better if you remove the plastic liner and replace with foam. Then it a great case for multiple guns.

nice gun! CONGRATS!

like the new case. looks like they would stack nice. I wish I could find out who makes them. but a softcase is probably the way to go.
