slower burning stick powders wouldnt get nearly enough velocity due to case capacity. There is a reason no pistol calibers can be reloaded with rifle powders.
cutting the bullets in half just seems like way more work than it's worth. You are better off buying the right bullets.

you asked if it was possible. everyone explained to you why it is possible, but takes a complete redesign leaving nothing of the original gun.
it isn't the answer you wanted to hear so you keep on asking like it's going to change.

even if you have a 12" bolt gun barrel that needs smithing to be Installed, it is constructive intent.

any company is far more likely to make a 45GAP gun than a 5.7x28mm gun. same existing frame as the 9/40 wIth a 45 barrel they already have, just chambered different. not to mention there is more than 2 companies making ammo for 45gap.

Re: 5.7mm Glock on the horizon?
the difference is, the 10mm shares a frame with the 45. the 5.7 frame wouldn't share with anything. the grip would have to be so long (front to back) that it would have to be slim. that would kill the capacity of any other caliber they could put in the frame.

the 10mm G20 was designed as from the ground up. Not a re-design on the G17. The 10mm rounds wont fit in a G17.
And then you have that whole, designing a brand new frame while not all their line is even up to the Gen 4 frame yet.

They would need to re-design the frame to make it bigger. I dont see that happening considering they just came out with the Gen 4 frame and it loses the modularity of the Glock system.

What I am saying is that berry's aren't copper washed, they are plated. Cci mini mags are copper washed.

Some 22lr ammo is copper washed. Berry's are copper plated. The thickness difference between the 2 is significant.panzermk2 wrote:
They look more like copper washed bullets like Berry's instead of actual copper jackets. Interesting.

It doesn't let it go f/a but it makes it simple. It's like having a sear pin hole on an AR. If you block it off, it is not a problem.
There is no such thing as finders keepers with the ATF. Look at what happened with the Akins Accellerator.

Re: FNX 45 Compact
Apparently they are doing compact's for the FNS series as well. I'm tempted to see how short they make the frames. If it's going to be midsize (like a glock 19/23) then I'll be tempted, otherwise just shortening the frame to only 2 fingers but still being fat isn't for me. There is no way you could...

Re: PX4 Storm
the m9/92fs is good if you have unnaturally large gorilla hands. it is WAY bigger than it needs to be.
Re: PX4 Storm
i had one for about a week. it was a nice gun but i sold it once i realize the rotating barrel can't be threaded.
