Of course it can. between the volume/bore size, it can handle tons of sub calibers. Pressure isnt the only thing a suppressor needs to worry about, volume is the other. The 5.7x28 doesn't have a lot of volume. Thats why quite a few .22 suppressors can handle it. The Osprey .45 is also rated for 10mm.

Re: P90 Hi-Desertdog Barrel
it is considered constructive intent.
even if you have a 12" bolt gun barrel that needs smithing to be Installed, it is constructive intent.
you can leave it with a relative or friend while you wait on the paperwork though.

if you have the barrel before the paperwork, you will be in violation of the law.vandyatc wrote:How long did you have to wait on them? I have spoken to them for many weeks and it seems to keep getting extended out further and further.
I'm waiting on the barrel before I even start on my paperwork.

Re: 5.7mm Glock on the horizon?
any company is far more likely to make a 45GAP gun than a 5.7x28mm gun. same existing frame as the 9/40 wIth a 45 barrel they already have, just chambered different. not to mention there is more than 2 companies making ammo for 45gap.

Re: 5.7mm Glock on the horizon?
the difference is, the 10mm shares a frame with the 45. the 5.7 frame wouldn't share with anything. the grip would have to be so long (front to back) that it would have to be slim. that would kill the capacity of any other caliber they could put in the frame.

Re: 5.7mm Glock on the horizon?
the 10mm G20 was designed as from the ground up. Not a re-design on the G17. The 10mm rounds wont fit in a G17.
And then you have that whole, designing a brand new frame while not all their line is even up to the Gen 4 frame yet.

Re: 5.7mm Glock on the horizon?
They would need to re-design the frame to make it bigger. I dont see that happening considering they just came out with the Gen 4 frame and it loses the modularity of the Glock system.

my 1919 is finicky with cheap ammo. I really want to like it but as long as my 930 JM pro eats everything, it's tough.

does the maverick have the safety on the receiver like the rest of Mossberg's lineup? if so, no pistol grip.

FWIW, Most piston guns suck to suppress since the gas is being released outside the suppressor.

Re: Cutting edge bullets
Grantness, I am curious about the "tumble" part of your comment. Is this a desired factor? I experienced some tumbling with the S195LF, 27gr factory load and I thought my TC G2 barrel was bad. Using other loads and making sure they are .224 cal., everything was fine. Can it be that the S195LF, 27gr...

Re: Israel's TAVOR
It won't be but it should be. It has more plastic than any AR carbine; take the Colt's that you can buy for $900. They are probably more accurate than the Tavor and have many more machined parts rather than really-to-produce-plastic-parts on the Tavor, and they are only $900. That last sentence can...

Even the MSAR STG was more than $800 and it was a copy of an existing design. There is no way the Tavor is a $800 gun.

I am familiar with the Glock. It is what makes me think it would not be helpful on a fiveseven. Not to mention, there is much more flash from a fiveseven.
