Re: FN Belgium strike

You guys reminded me of this: http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k467/rapier1772/School.jpg I've heard it several times lately that unions here in the US have outlived their usefulness. While I don't completely agree with that, in this economy, where a LOT of people are looking for a job, I'm not s...

Re: Elite Ammunition T6 Ballistic Tests

I hope this thread doesn't get locked. These are my favorite types of threads (not the personal stuff). I love hypothesizing about new EA rounds and reading others experience with current ones. This has got to be the most exciting and contentious caliber of all time. Even the fanbois argue and figh...

I hope they get sent packing, honestly. Had enough of people wanting what they aren't entitled to. What do you mean, Irish? I bet you don't think teachers in Chicago are entitled to a $71K+ salary either. :p  More if they are good at their job. Fired if they suck. When did we stop making edu...

Re: Elite Ammunition T6 Ballistic Tests

Why is it that people keep bringing up the # of layers it defeats? Layers differ from mfg to mfg... If one mfg finds a kevlar weave that meets the specifications for level IIIA using only 2 layers of kevlar versus another mfg that uses 50 layers, they're both level IIIA. I could be that S4M could pe...

Re: Holster sources for FsN

Wow, seriously? I post pictures of the holster and mag carrier they made for me and tell you that my gun never left my possession (I live in Florida they are in Philadelphia) and you take this position. Obviously they are making holsters for this firearm? Why it's not posted on their website and wh...

Rem700 + Millet for glass, and you've got yourself a great beginner rifle. I shot a .731 MOA 8 shot group at 400 yards this summer with my SPS Tactical (.308WIN).

I bet it would increase bullet cost... as it would require extra tooling.

I use one of the hydrostatic/auto inflatable life jackets when I'm running around, but really all I'm ever doing is point from fishing spot A to fishing spot B. However it's a 50/50 chance the life jacket would do anything for me with running around the river. Half the time it's less than a foot de...

You learn to be very steady. You may want to find the military's M16 user manual, it will give you a good start on getting proper sight alignment.
