Since you cycled them through you are probably good to go but the real proof is when you shoot them and see if anything hangs up. If it hangs pull the mag and inspect if the next round is sitting there in the mag with no real pressure on it. With one thousandths of taper you might see things hang a ...

Re: Range of your PS90?

I have shot my PS90 out to 200 yards at 50 yard intervals (with 50 yard zero) to test some reloads and a ballistics program. It is pretty much point and shoot with that setup if you are not using optics. One day I will redo the test with 40gr bullets and a more stable base to knock down the dispersi...

My daugher counted the 1k batch I got (she just decided it would be fun) and the tally is: 987 = good cases 18 = not usable cases (1 competely crushed to many about 1/2 crushed and a few that looked pretty much burnt entirely black - not sure what the issue is there) 3 = 223 cases 1 = a lead ball ab...

Re: Lacquer coating solution

Something occured to me today when I was shooting the PS90. Most of the hang up issues I have noted (even after having reloaded up to 6 or 7 times) are due to feeding from the magazine (ie a round doesn't want to roll) and not ejection from the action. Even with pretty chewed up coating they cycle f...

Re: Brass $33/1000 if anyone looking

Just got my 1K today - they look pretty good - a little dirty, but the simple green cycle will take care of that. Had about three 223's mixed in and one 5.7 case that looked like it when thru a 20 ton press (very very flat).

this should keep me going for some time!

Grant - you are correct. I ended up with 16lbs of the H335 a few years ago because it works ok for both 223 and 308 and there was a lot of reload data. When I run out (which may happen sooner than later with the rate my AR10 burns through 308) I am giving thought to using two different powders.
